I, Symone Davis, was born on March 6, 1990 in Gary, In. I am my mothers
youngest child, and only daughter, and the oldest of my father’s two
daughters. As I grew into my own person i developed my own style and
personality. I have always been outspoken and was known to say what was on my
mind. In high school I never knew what i wanted to major in college, all my
friends had these great careers like engineering, teaching and fashion. I was
the only one stuck on my next move. It was my senior year when I figured out I
wanted to be a communications major. I chose Jackson State University as my
dear old college home a few months later. Being from out-of-state i came to JSU not knowing anyone.
I used my gift of gab to meet a lot of great people. I am a member of Tiger P.R.I.D.E. Connection and currently serve as Vice President of broadcast for the JSU chapter of NABJ (National Association of Black Journalist).
My freshman year is when I took my classes and passed them but did not take advantage of all my major had to offer. As graduation gets closer I know the real world is approaching fast. After I graduate I plan to work for a production company and make my way up the later. I hope to produce some of the worlds most memorable works in film and television. I want to eventually end up owning my own production
company.
